The Performing arts and sports in all its forms have a persuasive impact on youth habits, lifestyle and culture. Dance, Music theatre, art and sports are vital and effective tools that can be used to convey positive messages and connect with today’s youth. Youth Stars Foundation is a non-profit organization, who’s mandate is to positively encourage and educate disadvantaged youth, by providing them with various organized activities, events and workshops all using the arts & sports as a motivational tool.
Youth Stars Foundation is situated and run from a downtown Montreal location. Being located at the centre of a large city, we are all too aware of the need for more organized and positive activities for disadvantaged youth in Montreal and surrounding areas. We recognize that in order to have an impact on young people, we must approach them in ways they can relate too, and offer activities that appeal to them and peak their interests, while providing them with helpful resources and opportunities.
Through a variety of organized events, such as dance workshops, theatrical productions, motivational speakers and athletic workshops, we provide safe havens and structured activities that these kids would otherwise not have the opportunity to take part in. We promote healthy life habits, and provide scholarships to help in fulfilling their goals. Among our activities we use local and international, successful individuals to help relay important and inspiring knowledge, realities and their personal experiences.
Youth Stars Foundation is dedicated to creating equal opportunity and successful preparation counsel to help youth reach their highest potential. Our activities cater to youth’s current interests by constantly keeping ourselves informed of all their latest trends, concerns and influences and uniquely incorporating arts, sports and entertainment in all our workshops, events and activities.
